The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office C.H.A.M.P. (Character, Honesty, Attitude, Motivation, Positivity) Camp is a week long summer program for those students who are moving into the 6th, 7th, or 8th grades and who have also shown a positive attitude and a willingness to work with other students throughout the school year.

Emphasis in CHAMP Camp are placed on building a motivational spirit through teamwork, sportsmanship, community, and self-discipline, which allow youth to foster a positive relationship with law enforcement.

This program is one of the many ways we at the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office dedicate policing as a public service based on trust between law enforcement and the diverse communities’ deputies serve and protect. Participants will be exposed to life skills, team-oriented games, community service, and an end of the week ceremony.

The camp is supervised and staffed by Sumner County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers.
