Sumner County Sheriff's Office

The Sumner County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a Network  Engineer.  The qualified person would manage all Information Technologies within the Sheriff's Office facilities.   The qualified candidate should possess the following certifications and or experience:

1.  Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Certification (MCSA).

2.  Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) or Citrix Experience.

3.  Sql/Server Certification.

4.  Experience with EMC SAN Solution.

5.  Telecommunication and Video Experience.

6.  Experience with HP and Cisco Managed switches and Cisco Firewalls or security appliances as well as Barracuda and Citrix Security appliances and software.

The Sheriff's Office hosts the following County Solutions which are critical elements to daily operation of all Criminal Justice aspects in Sumner County, which includes:  Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, jail Records Management, Mobile Data and field based reporting and replication to the State of Tennessee Fusion Center.  Almost all programs are Sql based except for one Oracle based program.

Applicants must not have any criminal history and be capable of passing an extensive background check.  

Salary range is $50,000-60,000.
